Animals have always been an integral part of our rich Indian culture and heritage. We worship cows and trust the dogs to protect our homes. However, today, with our busy schedules, we have become ignorant of their needs. The strays have no one to feed or take care of them. They take matters into their own hands and rummage through garbage and streets for scraps for survival, risking health risks such as cuts and infection. They also end up consuming plastics, which harms their health and even causes death. Most of the time, they don’t find anything and suffer from hunger, which makes them weak and sick. Let’s end their suffering and dedicate our time and resources to feeding them, ensuring their health and happiness. This small act of kindness not only takes away their pain and hunger but also allows us to preserve our traditions towards animals. They need our help; let’s feed them.
For thousands of years, animals were given equal rights in India. But these days, animals are treated as far less than human beings. This is the reason for the increase in the cases of animal cruelty in India. It is common these days to see cases of animal teasing by the evil elements in society. Street animals are especially falling victim to this cruelty. Dogs, cats, cows, etc. are all facing cruelty. We also face cases of animal accidents where they are not given proper treatment and are left to die on the streets. This precarious situation of animals is very alarming for a country like India. There are an increasing number of people who do not care for animal welfare and rights. Therefore, it is more than necessary to raise our voices for animal rights.
This summer, Riddhi Siddhi Charitable Trust launched a focused feeding drive to help stray animals hit hardest by the
soaring temperatures. With water sources drying up, fewer leftovers on the streets, and people staying indoors due to
the heat, strays had even less access to food and hydration. Our volunteers moved across multiple neighbourhoods,
placing clean water bowls, serving nutritious meals, and checking on animals who would have otherwise been overlooked.
During this drive, we served over hundreds meals and reached many stray dogs and cats. Many were visibly weak and
dehydrated, and our timely effort gave them a fighting chance to get through the season. Beyond food, this initiative
allowed us to build trust, making it easier to extend medical aid and sterilization support. We’re thankful to all who
stood by us. But this is just one phase. With your continued support, we can do even more. Join our mission to keep them
healthy and cared for.
Our NGO’s mission is to help the underprivileged as much as we can.
After going through numerous incidents of animal abuse, our charity
organisation decided to make sure the incidents were not repeated.
Therefore, our NGO started with animal welfare campaigns to help out
these animals’s needs. Our NGO helps animals in different scenarios.
One of the most important initiatives we carry out rescue operations
for animals in need. These can be animals who have gone through
accidents or some other injuries. Our NGO also supports other NGOs
helping out animals.
Another initiative we carry out is helping out with the adoption of
animals who have been left behind by their owners for some reason or
another. Many NGOs in India are helping out such animals. Our NGO
also makes sure to play its part in supporting such NGOs. Although
many agencies or shelters provide these services, it is always
preferable to adopt animals from adoption agencies, as these animals
suffer a lot, and helping them out is one of the noblest causes of
all.
There is another important campaign that helps animals who are
facing cruelty. It is called a recovery campaign for animals who are
facing issues related to abuse. After the animals are rescued from
the accidents, it is the major task to help these animals recover in
a better way. These require help from a veterinary doctor as well as
support from people who adopt these animals. Many times, even after
the animals are returned to an animal rescue shelter, they are not
able to help these animals properly because of the capacity of the
shelter. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the people to take
care of these animals.
Treating animals with respect may seem like a simple task, but unfortunately, it is not followed by an increasing number of people. This is the reason we need help from people like you. We need help to make sure we reach animals in need. Your support in the form of donations can increase our animal rescue operation, which will help a larger number of animals. It can also raise adoption efforts for the animals that have gone through accidents or some other form of injury and are in urgent need of support. Donations can also ensure the faster recovery of animals. Therefore, our NGO needs your help to make sure that the condition of animals in India gets better than before. We also have the support of our volunteers, who provide their efforts in these drives to show that we care for these animals. Join us on our journey where we never see animal cruelty in India.
