Every year during Pitra Paksha, families across India perform Shraddha — honoring their ancestors, offering them respect one last time. But what about those who have no one left to offer them even that?
Every year, hundreds of bodies lie unclaimed in mortuaries and on the streets of our city — the homeless, the abandoned elderly, the forgotten poor. No family to claim them. No one to carry them on their final journey. No rites, no dignity, no goodbye.
For years, our volunteers have carried out this sacred duty quietly — picking up unclaimed and destitute bodies, performing the last rites with full dignity and religious respect, regardless of caste, religion, or background. To us, every soul deserves a farewell. Every body deserves to be treated as someone's father, someone's mother, someone's child.
This Pitra Paksha, we ask you to extend your Shraddha beyond your own ancestors. Your contribution helps us:
"In Hindu belief, an unhonored soul remains restless. This Pitra Paksha, help a soul find peace — and help a family that never came, be forgiven, through your karma."
Your donation, however small, becomes someone's last dignity. Their last ride, made possible by you.
